During an interview, Katie said, “during all of the phone calls I made that afternoon, the phrase ‘I know I am crazy, but God is telling me to say YES’ kept coming out of my mouth.” During the discussion as to whether or not Katie would be taking in the baby girl, she felt as though she was experiencing all the same when she took Grayson home for the first time.
Decisions
While Katie was feeling understandably overwhelmed and a bit nervous about the decision, she couldn’t help but accept the baby as she did her son. Just a few hours later, baby Hannah was dropped off from the hospital to meet her new family for the very first time.
