First pets are always a big deal. Aside from giving kids a constant companion at home, it is also an opportunity to teach them about responsibility. While most families would go for a cat or a dog, this seven-year-old girl went a totally different path.

The little girl’s father brought home two 15-foot reticulated pythons. Instead of being scared, the little girl embraced them as pets and as part of the family. She is known to have been caught on camera cuddling the reptiles too!
